This holiday season, downtown Cambridge, Ohio transforms into a winter wonderland, filled with the charm of Dickens Victorian Village and the sparkle of one of the most breathtaking light displays in the Midwest—the Guernsey County Courthouse Holiday Light Show!
A Spectacular Display of Light and Music
From November through early January, the historic 1881 Guernsey County Courthouse becomes the backdrop for a mesmerizing holiday light and music extravaganza. Over 85,000 twinkling lights illuminate the night sky, dancing and pulsing in perfect harmony with a festive soundtrack. This FREE, state-of-the-art light show runs nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., extending until 11:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays—giving visitors ample opportunity to take in the magic.
Designed by AVC Communications, this incredible display is no ordinary holiday light show. It features more than 8,000 control circuits, each precisely synchronized in quarter-second increments to a mix of traditional and contemporary Christmas music. From beloved children’s classics to modern holiday hits, each hour-long show offers a variety of heartwarming melodies and dazzling light choreography.
The show’s seamless blend of historic charm and cutting-edge technology makes it a must-see attraction, drawing visitors from near and far to experience the magic of the season.
