Admission is $5.00 per person payable at the gate. At the tour you will meet a costumed actor or actress portraying the person whose grave you are visiting where they will share some interesting information about their life. We typically visit six people all who lived sometime during the Victorian era (Queen Victoria’s reign was 1837 to 1901). This year’s tours will be held at Founders Cemetery located a block from the Guernsey County Courthouse. It is ground set aside by our settlers with the first burial was in 1817 and the last in 1891. It is the last resting place of the Jacob Gomber, Zaccheus Beatty, Thomas Sarchet and others.
