#1 Great Expectations Chocolate Walk

Location: Wheeling Avenue, Downtown Cambridge, OH 43725

Be one of the lucky ticket holders to participate in the Great Expectations Chocolate Walk! Exchange your ticket for a Dickens Victorian Village bag and a walking tour brochure that will direct you to downtown participating merchants, where you will receive one chocolate experience at each location -- perhaps it will be a serving of hot chocolate, or a brownie, or a chocolate cordial. Enjoy some on the walk, or place some in your souvenir bag to enjoy later.

Only 350 tickets will be sold! Choose your start time of 5 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20 each
. Tickets will go on sale at 5:30pm. October 24th at the Dickens Welcome Center, 745 Steubenville Ave., Cambridge.
Limit of 2 tickets per person, only adults can purchase tickets.

Proceeds benefit the Dickens Victorian Village project.

Ticket holders pick up their bag the evening of the walk at  Peoples Bank main office, 845 Wheeling Avenue, where you will enjoy your first chocolate experience of the evening.

#2 Opening Ceremony

#3 Victorian Tea at Colonel Taylor Inn

Share the sweet and savory treats of a long time past in the elegant home built by Civil War hero Col. Taylor. Queen Victoria will join the guests and share bits of her life story with those gathered. Live music will be provided by the Brooke Singers.

#4 Historic Trolley Tours

Location: Dickens Welcome Center, 745 Steubenville Ave, Cambridge, OH 43725

Spend an hour with a costumed guide to enjoy a narrated historical tour that covers not only downtown Cambridge and its Victorian Scenes, but also several outlying historical areas.  Your trolley passage will provide you with a $1.00 discount to any museum stops.

Tours depart from the Dickens Welcome Center at 745 Steubenville Avenue beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 5:00 pm with the last tour departing at 4:00 pm. Tickets cost $10.00 per person and may be purchased at the Welcome center or below via PayPal. Note: online orders do not receive mailed tickets; please present your confirmation page to claim your tickets at the Dickens Welcome Center on the day of your tour.

#5 Geo Caching With Dickens

Location: Historic Downtown Cambridge

Starting point at U.S. Bank patio, 819 Wheeling Ave. (across from the Courthouse), Cambridge, Ohio

Come and admire the beauty of downtown and the Dickens Victorian Village displays, celebrate the season, and swap cache talk with new and old friends, and find approximately 80 temporary caches along the way. Cache expert David Waters will be on hand.

All cache spots are wheelchair and stroller accessible. The walk is about one mile total on flat sidewalks. Courthouse light shows start at 3:00 p.m., so come early to allow time to grab a bite to eat, walk the cache route, and enjoy the light show, too.

Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies will be provide for geocachers at the U.S. Bank patio. Bring your family and friends for a nice evening out and share some cheer!

#6 Tavern Tasting

Location: Taverns in Historic Downtown Cambridge

Bring your friends and sample the fine pubs in downtown Cambridge all in one night -- a good old-fashioned pub crawl! A ticket gets you one specialty drink at each pub along with festive food. Only 125 tickets will be sold.

To begin your evening, check in from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Dickens Welcome Center, 745 Steubenville Avenue. There, your ID will be checked and you can pick up your drink tickets,  and wristband. Let the crawl begin!

#7 Gingerbread House Contest and Display

Gingerbread houses are a delight for all ages! Come see what our local gingerbread artisans have created for the Gingerbread House Contest. And, look closely, not all gingerbread houses are houses! Imaginative dwellings of all types are made entirely of edible materials.

Gingerbread Houses will be on display for public viewing & voting at the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center Monday through Friday from 8:30 am through 3:30 pm. Admission is free.

Winners will be announced on December 9th.

#8 Family Fun Gingerbread Decorating Class

#14 Cambridge City Band Holiday Concert

#15 Themed Scavenger Hunt

Youngsters and adults alike will have a "dickens" of a good time hunting for the Dickens mug hidden among store items of various businesses in the historical downtown Cambridge. Shortly thereafter, a drawing will be held from the  returned entries and a bag filled with prizes will be warded to the winning entry.

Entry sheets complete with instructions are available beginning at  10am on the day of the scavenger hunt at the Dickens Welcome Center & Curiosity Shoppe, 745 Steubenville Avenue.

#23 Gerald Dickens Presents A Christmas Carol

Dickens Victorian Village is proud to host Mr. Dickens as he brings the classic Christmas story to life on stage in a performance that you'll want to make a holiday tradition.

Tickets are $18.00 and are available through Paypal below or at the Dickens Welcome Center, Country Bits, and Penny Court. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the performance.

#24 National Museum of Cambridge Glass Open House
